BluNavy will maintain its commitment to keep the eight daily departures scheduled between Piombino and Portoferraio operating during the winter season. The company has added a new vessel on the link service to guarantee this. The M/V Vesta will be operating alongside the Acciarello. It is substituting the Tremestieri, a ship scheduled to return to service next spring.
The Vesta, smaller than the Acciarello, is 70 meters long and 14 meters wide. It is able to carry up to 750 passengers and 75 cars. Over the last few years it was employed on the link service between Sicily and the islands.
