The MSC group expressed its interest in acquiring a majority stake in ITA Airways to the Italian Government today.
In a press statement, Gianluigi Aponte’s company explains that their aim is to set up a partnership with the Italian Government and Lufthansa, which has already expressed its interest in taking part in the initiative as an industrial partner in the project
MSC and Lufthansa, following the Expression of Interest, have requested an exclusivity period of 90 business days, regulatory approvals and Due Diligence.
