Fire breaks out in Matanzas port

There is a serious toll from the fire that broke out on Friday night in Matanzas, Cuba’s most important port for imports of crude oil and other fuels. Lightning struck a huge oil depot, causing a blaze that spread to an adjacent tank.

A 60-year-old firefighter was fatally injured in the accident, while 16 others are missing. 24 people have been hospitalized, five of them are in critical condition. According to authorities but there are at least a hundred more victims with burns.
