‘Truck it easy’, a smart application designed to help drivers and companies meet the digitalization challenges in a simple and intuitive way, is launched.
The app, devised and developed by the VGM consortium and Spediporto, the association of Genoese freight forwarders, allows cloud document storage, synchronization with the E-port system and all port operating systems, real-time fleet tracking, management and analysis of travel costs, certification of distances for travel cost estimates, transport contracts and integration with the consortium’s container weighing service.
Giampaolo Botta, director of Spediporto and president of the Vgm consortium, made up of Spediporto, Csp Consorzio Sistemi Portuali and Cerisola & Brillante, explained: “Our daily struggles with road transport problems, which consequently affect the entire supply chain, led us to think of an app that could, in a simple and intuitive way, help drivers and companies to face the challenge of digitalization.”
