Between 7th and 9th October, as part of its EU Presidency, Finland will host the Digital Transport Days in Helsinki, dedicated to developments in the field of digitalization in the transport sector. On the agenda the key themes of data re-use and interoperability, digitalization of information on goods, impact of digitalization on the de-carbonization process, scenarios from new technologies, such as 5G.
For ports and the entire transport chain, interesting opportunities are opening up in terms of economic, technical and regulatory implications, involving concepts such as Mobility as a Service (MaaS), automation and blockchain technologies.
In addition to the rich program, the exhibition of successful European projects and programs in the digital environment provides a 360° overview of the initiatives and investments undertaken with the support of the European Union over the last few years.
