The port of Gdansk wins the prestigious ESPO Award. The Polish port beat off competition from Hamburg, Valencia and Vigo to win this year’s award, which is given to the port management body that, more than others, has been able to play a key role in the recovery from the current crisis and contribute to improving the prosperity of the city, the local community and the local area.
The Port of Gdansk is currently engaged in various activities under the WE ARE slogan. The aim of the project is to integrate the local community from the Gdansk districts of Stogi and Nowy Port with the seaport. Through its initiatives the organization has promoted cooperation, solidarity and responsibility, which are so necessary in these pandemic times.
