A few days ago, the Chinese shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, part of China State Shipbuilding Corporationg (Cssc), delivered the world’s largest container ship to the Evergreen Marine shipping company.
The Ever A lot has a 24004 TEU capacity. It is 400 metres long and 61.5 metres wide. The ship will be used on routes between the Far East and Northern Europe. It is slightly larger than the Ever Ace, the largest container ship ever to set sail. Until now.
