New name for Bolloré Africa Logistics

by Port News Editorial Staff

Bolloré Africa Logistics: the company comprising all of the Bolloré Group’s transport and logistics activities in Africa, which was taken over by MSC in April 2022 for EUR 5.7 billion, is changing its name and look.

From today it will be called Africa Global Logistics (AGL). AGL, which has over 21,000 employees in 49 countries, will continue to operate as an independent entity.

A press release  by MSC states that it  is enthusiastic about the AGL brand and will continue to invest in all its cargo operations operating in Africa, while supporting the continent’s growth and sustainable development.

AGL’s logistics portfolio in Africa ranges from warehousing and cold storage to other logistics solutions. As a global supply chain leader, MSC says it understands the critical role logistics plays in enabling trade and growing economies. “MSC and AGL are strongly committed to connecting Africa with the rest of the world.”
