The Premier Alliance, the five-year box-shipping alliance between One, HMM and Yang Ming announced today, is now official.
The three carriers, which were formerly part of The Alliance with Hapag Lloyd, have announced that they will continue to cooperate.
It includes collaborating on scheduled services on major east-west trade routes (Asia – West Coast of North America, Asia – East Coast of North America, Asia – Mediterranean, Asia – Northern Europe and Asia – Middle East). MSC will also provide additional support.
The Swiss-Italian shipping line will collaborate in a slot exchange agreement on nine services connecting Asia and Europe.
