Ocean Network Express announced that it has donated $44,000 to the Singapore Red Cross to support survivors and communities affected by the devastating monsoon that flooded Pakistan in late August, affecting more than 33 million people, killing 1,000, and destroying or severely damaging nearly one million homes.
The funds will go to Red Cross partners to purchase food, water, hygiene solutions and other basic necessities.
Meanwhile, a few days ago ONE published its financial results for the third quarter of the year, reporting a 31% increase in profits, which exceeded $5.5 billion, and a 24% growth in revenues, which reached $9.3 billion.
Between July and September, the company handled 2.9 million TEUs, -9% compared to the same period in 2021.
