The Madrid Bridge, a containership operated by Singapore-based Ocean Network Express, lost an as-yet unspecified number of containers in the Atlantic Ocean while on route to New York.
The incident occurred on January 7th . Perhaps the vessel hit a storm which led to cargo instability and containers falling overboard. However, investigations are still ongoing and information will be provided as soon as possible.
The ship’s owner, K Line, stressed that there aren’t any casualties among crew members and no containers carrying dangerous goods were lost.
