Today, Fincantieri officially delivered the Discovery Princess at the Monfalcone Shipyard. She will be the fifteenth vessel in the Princess Cruises’ fleet, owned by the American group Carnival .
The ship, with a 145,000 gross tonnage and a 3,660 passenger capacity, is the first cruise ship to be delivered by Fincantieri in 2022.
Six more will follow later this year. The group currently has 14 cruise ships under construction out of a total of 28 passenger ships in its portfolio, extending the timeframe for this segment to 2027
Over the next few days the Discovery Princess will leave Italy bound for the port of Los Angeles.
