Unifeeder is the shipping company which has registered the largest market share growth for scheduled services inside Northern Europe over the past twelve months.
The Danish carrier has overtaken CMA CGM into second place among the leading operators in the intra-North European market, just behind MSC, which holds the top position. Alphaliner announced it in its latest report. The shipping line increased its market share from 12.8% a year ago to the current 15.1% with a total capacity of 38,000 TEUs.
Overall, the intra-North European service capacity fell by 3.5% or 10,000 TEUs compared to July 2023, partly due to the decision of some operators to downsize or completely stop some of their services between the Northwest Continent and the Baltic.
