Vespucci Truck Village ready-to-go

The Amerigo Vespucci logistics centre has completed its Truck Village, a parking area for heavy goods vehicles, built according to European Pass4Core standards and designed to guarantee a safe top-quality stopover for lorry drivers.

The logistics centre’s CEO announced the news on linkedin. He stated that the new facility will be presented to the public and press in Verona on 13th March, at 11.30 a.m., at LetExpo 2025, in the PIAZZA UIR area (Pavilion 5 stand B2).

With a 200-parking-space capacity and CCTV surveillance, the Truck Village offers an easily accessible solution for road hauliers, paying particular attention to their and their cargoes’ safety .

During their stopover, drivers can make use of a laundry room, snack vending machines, free Wi-Fi, and separate showers and toilets for men and women.

A series of additional services are also available including a motel, a restaurant, a certified weighing machine, a fuel station that also sells LPG and LNG, and a workshop for mechanical repairs.

The HGV parking facility is only 5 minutes from the port of Livorno and the A12 motorway. Pisa airport is only 10 minutes away. There are two sliproads to the Florence-Pisa-Livorno fast road. There is also a rail link.

The Truck Village project was included in the ‘Parking Areas implementing Safety and Security FOR (4) CORE network corridors in ITALY (PASS4CORE-ITA) and was financed by the CEF Transport programme.
